Annual Events

Fellowship does not lack at Grace Church. Many opportunities for fellowship with the congregation are happening all the time and are inclusive of all families, young and old.

  • Weekly Fellowship/Coffee Hour following the 10:00 a.m. service: Families take turns providing and hosting for this weekly event. Coffee, goodies and juice or tea are available for a light snack after church. While adults take the time to catch up with each other after the 10:00 am service, an area is available for the children to enjoy fellowship while eating their snack -- with Veggie Tales, giant checkers, cars and firetrucks, dolls and coloring materials to keep them entertained. A sign up sheet is available in the kitchen.
  • Shrove Tuesday Pancake SupperShrove Tuesday Pancake Supper: Who doesn't love pancakes and bacon for dinner? Come and join us on Shrove Tuesday for our annual pancake supper. Ladies, how would you like to have the old tradition of the men doing the cooking for this event come back?
  • Good Friday Hot Cross Buns & Easter Egg Dying, followed by Meatless Potluck Supper and Good Friday service: What a great way to set the tone and remind everyone what Good Friday and Easter are all about. Children love this hands on experience. This is an all day event.
  • Election Day Spaghetti Dinner: The tradition of our Election Day Spaghetti dinner returned in 2011. Great fellowship and great food!
  • Mother's Day Brunch & Father's Day Lunch
  • Christmas Cookie-baking
  • Christmas Cookie Exchange: A yearly cookie exchange during Advent. Use this to build up the variety for the company that will be in and out during the holidays!
  • End of Sunday School, Beginning of Summer party: A potluck luncheon and picnic with games and sports opportunities.

Members are encouraged to share ideas for new fellowship opportunities. Something else you were hoping to see on the list? Bring it to our attention -- either we have forgotten about it, or, it's something we're not doing that you think we should be doing. We'd love to hear from you. Let the Grace Church Office know!
